Resveratrol Supplements – Do they really work?

I see all of these ads for Resveratrol Supplements and I’ve read how Barbara Walters was convinced that Resveratrol works and that even Oprah endorsed it.
Does it really work for anti-aging?

They were proven to work in lab rats or mice, not in humans. However, the results were so powerful that I believe that they are worth supplementing. The thing about resveratral is, you will not notice anything form them. It is the kind of supplement that you will need to take daily for years to really benefit from them.
I think that if you can afford it, give it a try, but don’t waste your money if you are not willing to stay with it.
This is the new buzz. It hasn’t been around long enough for any claims to be made.
I would take a look at some of these superfoods (ie. maca, goji berry, phytoplankton, reishi mushroom). Did you know the raw cocoa bean has more antioxidants than any other food substance on the planet? This would include Resveratrol. I would go with a whole food like the ones I have mentioned. They also have other nutrient benefits that are very beneficial for the body.

I get my Resveratrol from red grapes. It is only one of several antioxidants, all of which have benefits. It may work, but nobody has mistaken me for a teenager yet.

Yes resveratrol is effective to anti aging. They really work.
From my experience – the pill come from red wine – can increase longevity and increase energy. Although from red wine, I don’t want consume over a dozen bottles of red wine everyday. I just take resveratrol anti aging pills.

I agree with a poster above. They were proven to work in lab rats only. If you are going to use it, plan to do so for the long haul. Otherwise, its just a waste.
